Born in Alvarado Texas, Carolyn dedicated her life to caring for others. She was the kind of woman who held everyone together offering wisdom when it was needed most, laughter when spirits were low, and love that never wavered.
Her devotion to her family was unmatched. She raised her children with compassion, worked tirelessly to create a warm home, and later became the heart of her grandchildren’s world. Whether it was a family dinner, a comforting phone call, or simply a knowing look, she made everyone feel safe and loved.
Even in her final days, Carolyn radiated joy. Her love for music and dancing never left her, she would tap her feet to old favorites and light up when a familiar tune played. Specifically The twist and Hound Dog. It reminded us all, that joy can be found in even the simplest moments, and that the heart never forgets what it loves
She is preceded in death by her mother Lucille, husband Arthur, Brother James, son Terry and grandson Dusty.
She is survived by her daughter Tammy and partner Doug, son Tommy and partner Leslie, stepson Wayne and partner Jackie, James and partner Sherry, and Steve, stepdaughter Tammy and partner Ricky. As well as 20 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren who will carry on her legacy of strength, kindness, and fierce love.
Carolyn will be missed beyond measure, but her spirit lives on in the stories we tell, the values she instilled, and the love that continues to bind us.
