

A Celebration of Life for Cederic will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Hallmark Church, 4201 W Risinger Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76123, with Pastor Mike Haley, officiating.
Cederic Donnell Fredrick Whitfield Jr. was born in Fairbanks, Alaska to Cedric Donnell Fredrick Whitfield Sr. and Betty Whitfield on September 7, 1998. Cederic accepted Christ and was baptized at Hallmark Church in July 2014. As a young child, he enjoyed T-ball, soccer, football, and Upward basketball. He graduated from Harmony School of Innovation in Fort Worth, TX. He worked as a Cashier and Night Stocker for Walmart in Columbus, IN, and in his free time, he enjoyed playing online video games with his childhood friends Ronald Spencer Jr. and Xavier Player. Cederic was an amazing father to his son Ivory Dean Whitfield and was extremely proud to watch him grow.
Before Cederic left this world he made a great sacrifice and donated his organs to LifeGift leaving his kidneys and liver.
Cederic Donnell Fredrick Whitfield Jr. entered heaven’s gate he was welcomed by his Great grandparents, maternal grandfather Howard Blackshear, paternal grandparents Ivory Whitfield and Martha Whitfield, Great Aunt Mary Brisco, Uncles- Billy Ray and Ivory Collins, cousins- James Earl Gibbs, Paul James Broussard, and Robert Cole Blackshear Jr., and childhood friends Christopher Denio and Ashley Gray.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his son Ivory Dean Whitfield, his father Cedric Donnell Fredrick Whitfield Sr, his mother Betty Dean Whitfield, his brother Quincy Blackshear, his sisters Tiffany Blackshear-Burch and Ryesheka Whitfield, Brother-in-law Joe Burch, his grandmother Hattie Blackshear, his godparents Earl and Rhonda Valley, his nephews Donnell Burch and Lamont Blackshear, and nieces Burkleigh Nicole, Jolise Burch, Ambrya Blackshear, Rose Blackshear, and Narya Blackshear. Along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his pet Echo the Gecko.
Memorials may be given to The Whitfield family.
The family of Cederic Donnell Fredrick Whitfield Jr. wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Velindica Renee Roberson and the prayer line for meeting and supporting every day, his Walmart Coworkers, Marine Creek (Fort Worth) healthcare workers including Kandi, Chasity, Juanita, Mel, Armondo, and all respiratory Therapist, KPC Promise Nursing and LTAC (Wichita Falls) including Theresa and staff, and Tranquility (Indianapolis) including nurse Tasha and Chief, respiratory therapist Linda and staff.
