Graveside service: 11 a.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
The Lord began a good work in Charlie on Feb. 15, 1932, and was faithful to complete it on Oct. 9, 2014. He served his country honorably for eight years in the U.S. Navy and was a Korean War veteran. Charlie retired from the U.S government, Fort Worth in 1989 and he and Peggy moved to Tucson, Ariz. They enjoyed travel at home and aboard. Charlie was a deacon at Green Valley Baptist Church in Green Valley, Ariz., where he and Peggy have resided for the past 14 years.
He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Dean Weeks; father, Lee Roy Weeks; mother, Odette McCown Weeks; brothers, LeRoy Weeks and William Thomas Weeks.
Survivors: Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Peggy Sue Fraley Weeks; daughters, Angela Sue Rutledge and Vickie Lynn Maynard, both of Arlington; and sisters, Mary Hess of Nashville and Margaret Wise of Fort Worth.
