Memorial: Chasity was laid to rest on Thursday March 26, 2020 at Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth.
Chasity will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, soul mate, granddaughter, niece, cousin, classmate, teammate, co-worker and friend to all that knew and loved her. She was born on April 11, 1999 in Fort Worth, Texas to Jorge and Brenda Gallegos. Chasity was so special, from before she ever took her first breath she has changed so many people lives for the better. She was our perfect little “hood baby”, never cried or complained. As a child her light was so bright, her smile and the way she loved was out of this world. She was kind, humble, respectful and not above doing anything or being anywhere. She was always present in the moment, and would make people feel special and appreciated. Chasity enjoyed all types of music and loved old school hip-hop and R&B. She enjoyed singing, dancing and truly had an adventures spirit. In our home we would say, “If it was easy, everyone would do it, and if everyone would do it, we would have to do something else”. She understood that you got out of life what you are willing to put into it and she proved it everyday. She spent countless hours studying/training and it showed in her academic and athletic achievements. Chasity completed a majority of her core college classes while in high school and was currently enrolled in West Coast University and working toward her B.S. in Nursing. Chasity was an athlete, “beast”, it’s when she became Chass. She focused her energy toward soccer but could have excelled in anything. Chass played on multiple teams at one time and trained on the field and in the gym like very few do. She earned the privilege of playing at the top level in this country on an ECNL team for 3 years while in high school and played one year of college before focusing fulltime on her academics and building a life with her soul mate Miguel Vidales. As busy and tired as she was, Chass always made time for everyone, making sure to visit family and friends and always reaching out on social media and through text messages. The void she has left in this world is immeasurable and we are blessed to have had her as part of our story. As we continue with our stories, we ask that everyone remember her light and share it with everyone you meet. Chasity is survived by parents Jorge and Brenda Gallegos, brother Damien Gallegos, soul mate Miguel Vidales, Grandparents Fructuoso and Belen Gallegos / Ascencion and Ventura Torres, uncles Charlie, “Nuni”, Albaro, Daniel aunts Laura, Ana and many other loving family and friends. She was recently proceeded in death by her great-grandmother “Mamina”, great uncle “Tio Julio”, cousin “Baby Saraii”, uncle Alfredo Torres, puppy “Lily” and a long list of loved ones that she will now reunite with in heaven.
