

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2021 starting at 2pm at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. A Remembrance Service will follow at 4pm. Chester will be laid to rest at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date.
He was born to Walter and James Pearl Howard in Terrell, Texas on April 18, 1949. He was the eighth of 10 children. He was drafted into the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He proudly served his country for more than 20 years, retiring from his Air Force career in 1990 at Carswell Air Force Base. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree from ITT in Electronics Engineering and made use of his talents in aviation simulation.
Chester was a family man, and enjoyed cooking and barbequing with his family. Many great memories were made with family sharing his favorite meals. He was very mechanically inclined and passed on his great skills to his sons. Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend will be dearly missed by those blessed to have shared in his life journey.
Chester is survived by his children, Kimberly and Kenneth Baker, Carl and Rachel Howard, Clifton and Mindy Howard; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Siblings, Erdie Howard, Vanester Howard, OraDell Howard and Roslyn Howard, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
