Chris Boorman

Funeral Service: 12:30 p.m. Monday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, 7100 Crowley Road.

Chris was born on December 30th 1924 in Paris, TX to John and Florence Norrell. Chris lived in Paris during her childhood and moved to Fort Worth TX where she met her husband Dan Allan Boorman. They were married on March 21st 1943 at Beacon Baptist Church in Fort Worth TX. They were married for 64 years before his passing in 2007. Dan and Chris had 7 children while operating B&S Caulking a family business. Chris’s main focus in life was being a hardworking faithful Housewife, a great mother, great grandmother and church member. She dedicated her time at the church nursery on Sundays. The children were her love next to her passion for Jesus. The following poem was written by a dear friend that best describes her life on earth.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dan Allan Boorman of Fort Worth TX, Her daughter Judy Moreno of Granbury TX, Her grandson Jason Walls of Fort Worth TX; her parents John and Florence Norrell of Paris TX; her brothers Carle Norrell, Ernie Norrell and RJ Norrell and her sister Billie Strawn.
