Chris Edward Townes, 68, passed away July 28, 2017. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to UT Southwestern Simmons Cancer Center P. O. Box 910888 Dallas, 75391-0888. Chris was born July 15, 1949 in Fort Worth to Jack and Dorothy Townes. He was an avid golfer all his life. He was an enthusiastic fisherman. Chris was a Rangers, TCU , Cowboys, and Stars fan. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons. Chris also loved to travel. Chris is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sharon Townes; daughter, Adrienne Townes (Christopher Feucht); son, Kyle Townes (Veronika); grandsons, William, Phillip, and Adam; and numerous friends and family.
