Chris, my political partner in crime. I loved you like a brother, you are missed my friend. I can't think of a more vocal and passionate conservative, or a more vocal and passionate Cowboys fan.

I still remember that day years ago when we met at that hosting company in Dallas when I interviewed you. (Who can forget meeting you?)  ;-)  You were always a go-to guy for business and personal stuff. 

Lauren, you know how charismatic Chris was. I'm sure you know how much he loved you., you were always the apple of his eye, the pride of his life. He was truly in love with you every day.

I worked with Chris at Fivepoints. I just found out he passed away. I am so sorry. I cant believe he isnt around anymore. He was always so full of life!

I'm saddened to hear of Chris' passing.  He was far too young, but then again, none of the Lake Highlands Class of '87 are getting any younger.  One thing that I've found consoling is that when I reflect on memories of Chris, I just start cracking up.  He was a funny guy.  We met at Forest Meadow Junior High... his laugh and smile was infectious even then.
To Lauren, Dylan, William and the rest of his family - you are in my thoughts and prayers.  I'm hopeful that you too will find solace in the memories of his laugh and smile.  May God Bless you and your family.

To Chris's Family,  Chris was a very smart person, passionate about life, very funny and I enjoyed being around him.  Knowing him has made me a better person. We studied a lot growing up and he was always there when I needed him. Rest in peace my friend.

I am Marilyn stanphill Chris's  cousin from Oregon, the last and only time I ever saw Chris he was a beautiful baby boy of three,His mother Jan, I could tell just doted on him, and of course that continued through his life.  My son was also 3,at the time of the visit and also named Chris, what a coincidence , he and Chris would have had been great buddies and lots of fun had they lived closer and grew up together, as I see they have alot in common.
 As  I read  what his father Bob wrote I could feel the love and sense of pride he had in his beautiful boy Chris. I look at Chris's face, he is so handsome and I can tell full of life, and love, JESUS is in his smile, and eyes just like his moms. I speak of Chris in present terms because I believe he will always be with his family in a spiritual sense. I love the bible verse from the writings of Paul, "To be  absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord. I love this old writing,  "As we all stood watching on the the shores of this earth, we say of our loved one as we watch him in our minds eye walking towards heavens shore,  I see him, there he goes! and far on the other  side of heavens shores,  his loved ones waiting, we here them say excitedly, I see him! here he comes! 
See  you there someday guys,  as Chris waits and watches and  and one day exclaims I see them here they come!
 My love and prayers thoughts and heartache at the missing of Chris are with you all, but more important the  joy of our faith and salvation are joined with yours his family,your  our family too, and we love you all.  Bob and Jan you are, beyond words lovely and true. To my aunt uncle and cousins Chris's Wife and children, we love you. I met Chris on Facebook, exchanging various political opinions. Over the last 30 years I’ve had over 3000 employees work for me in the hospitality business.  Chris worked for me at the Tijuana Yacht Club, the Baja Beach Club and The Blue Planet.  I always enjoyed watching him thrill our guests with his dynamic performances…and they were dynamic!  His sense of humor, caring attitude and ability to relate to all of his fellow employees made him so special.  Chris will always be one of a dozen or so people who will live forever in my Hall of Fame.  He will not be forgotten! He loved his wife and kids more than anything in the world.  RIP Chris.  We love you.

I'm deeply saddened by your passing.  I got to know you better through facebook and you could always make me smile or laugh, even if I didn't agree with some things.  I know you will be greatly missed and your wonderful family has indeed lost a beautiful soul.  I'm only glad that you are no longer in pain and can veg out up there with some friends and continue making everyone around you smile. Chris, you were a good man with a big heart. I find peace knowing you are up there pain free. I also know if there is a Cuban to be smoked, a glass of wine to be sipped, and an Italian dinner to be had you are enjoying yourself immensely. Your time on Earth was short but your spirit will live on.

I had the honor of meeting Chris when his son Dylan was in my first grade classroom.  Chris was an amazing dad.  He was so in tune with his children's needs.  I later became more of a friend.  I loved his humor and his outspokenness.  You never had to wonder where Chris stood on any subject.  Through our discussions, I know that Chris loved the Lord and had no fear of where his eternity would be spent.  Keep and eye on us all Chris.  You will be missed on earth but have earned your heavenly reward.

I never met you, but I've known your Brother for a good while. If you were anything like your Brother, you would be someone that i would want to know. Being of your Same age, I know that there was so much more you must have wanted out of life, but i'm sure that the short time you were here you brightened the Lives of your Friends and Family. Chris and I worked together at Data Return for a short time(relatively), but I remembered his personality clearly.  We reconnected on Facebook, and I always enjoyed his sense of humor.  I pray for strength for his family, especially those wonderful boys.  A man's legacy is completed by those he leaves behind, and his family and friends are a testament to a good man.  He will be missed.

Lauren and family, Chris was one of the best.  His sense of humor, his passion for his family and for life, made him a very special person to work with.  He will be greatly missed.  You and your family are in my prayers.
