Claudia Crocker Brinker, 80, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Cleburne and Burleson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 23, 2019. Claudia was born on Oct. 1, 1938 to T.C. and Modessa Woods. She was raised in the historic North Side of Fort Worth and was a proud graduate of North Side High School, Class of 1956 where she met her first husband Charles Mason Crocker. Charles preceded her in death in 1990. Claudia and Charles had three children: Charles Mason Crocker, Jr., Cathy Lynn Crocker Daus and Christopher Allen Crocker. Claudia was blessed to find love again when she met and married William Fisher Brinker (Bill) and embraced his two children, Kelly Brinker and Kim Brinker Howard as her own. Claudia had careers in the banking and title industry working at The Bank of Commerce and Rattikin Title Company in Fort Worth. She found her true calling in her later years serving at her church, First Baptist Cleburne, as a receptionist until she retired in 2017.
Claudia loved her family, cooking, travelling and was an avid (crazed) Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and The University of Texas Longhorns fan. Most of all, Claudia loved her Lord and faithfully served him all her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Crocker and second husband Bill Brinker, her brother Don Smith and sister-in-law Bettie Ruth Smith, brother-in-law Mike Muse, daughter Kim Brinker Howard Ferguson and son-in-law Scott Howard.
Claudia is survived by her daughter Cathy Crocker Daus and husband Dave of Fort Worth, son Charles Crocker and wife Beth of Burleson, son Chris Crocker and wife Jennifer of Poulsbo, Washington, sister Betty Lou Muse of Dallas, son Kelly Brinker and wife Nancy of Joshua, son-in-law Tommy Ferguson of Grandview, daughter-in-law Gina Guhl, niece and nephew she help raise and considered her own, Dave Churchwell of Azle, Texas and Dianne Brown of California, grandchildren Jennifer Seamans and husband Shane of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Charles Monroe and girlfriend Crystal Cook of Dallas, Haley Bullard and husband Stetson of Joshua, Ryann Crocker and boyfriend Ryan Hardin of Fort Worth, Bailey Sigmon and husband Jason of Fort Worth, Felicity Crocker of Poulsbo, Washington, Tyler Ferguson of Grandview, Brendan Brinker of Joshua, great grandchildren Fisher Bullard of Joshua and Faith Seamans and Joseph Seamans of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and numerous nieces and nephews.
