Dan was born on April 17, 1933 in Fort Worth to C.A. and Lucile Easley Paxton. He grew up in Dallas and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from SMU in May, 1955.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marlie; sons, Harvey (Beth) and Curtis Paxton of California; daughter, Alice (Fred) Grant of Colleyville; sister, Martha Morey of California and Nancy (Jack) Hobson of Fort Worth; 14 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Paxton family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 28 at 2:00 pm at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
