Service: 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church Burleson, 317 West Ellison, Burleson 76028, with visitation at noon.
David was born Nov. 16, 1934, in Matador and went to be with his Lord on Feb. 7, 2015, in Burleson. David served in the Air Force for six years and retired from the State Comptroller Department after 31 years. He enjoyed fishing, trains, telling jokes and watching baseball and football. His retirement years were spent serving those around him through Promises Community Ministries at his church. He will be missed by all who knew him.
David was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Bettie Jameson, and sister, Eldora Jameson.
Survivors: He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sue Jameson; daughter, Becky Wagner and husband, Danny; daughter, Bettie Baggette and husband, Larry; granddaughter, Nicki White and her fiance, Michael Connor; and grandsons, Adam White and Nate Wagner.
