David Lee Marshall

Visitation will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas, 76134 on Thursday, December 12 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.

A Celebration of David's life will be held in the Chapel of Chimes, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas, 76134 on Friday, December 13 at 12:30 pm.

Interment will follow the service at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas, 76134.

David was born on November 21, 1937 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the middle of 3 sons born to Gerald and June Marshall, having an older brother, Gerald Thomas and a younger brother, Jon Robert.

David would move to the Fort Worth area with his family when he was 10 years of age. He would do his schooling in Fort Worth, graduating from Fort Worth Technical High School. He would marry his high school sweetheart, Ruby Sue Culpepper on July 10, 1955 and they would celebrate 60 years of marriage before her passing in 2015. They would have two children, David and Terri. David worked at Convair where he was a form tool grinder. When a layoff occurred, he found work at Bell Helicopter and would retire from there after 45 years of service. He was also a dedicated Mason for over 50 years.

David was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Sue Marshall, his parents; Gerald and June Marshall, and both brothers; Gerald Thomas and Jon Robert Marshall.

Those left to cherish his memory and continue his legacy are his son David Marshall and wife Ann, daughter Terri Sandlin and husband Rick, grandchildren; Crystal Nadason and husband Mike, Ryan Sandlin and wife Katie, and Holly Barnett and husband Greg, great grandchildren; P.J., Rusty, and Olen West, Michaela Nadason, Timmy and Emily Sandlin, and Owen Barnett, and many other extended loving family members, friends, and co-workers.
