David was born Feb. 24, 1932, in Detroit Michigan to George and Bernalda Williamson. David graduated from Michigan State with a bachelor’s in architecture. He then served in the U.S. Coast Guard December 21, 1950 - December 21, 1953, and finished off his working career as a Landscape Architect for the U.S Department of Transportation. David was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Burleson, TX for over 30 years, and enjoyed ushering on Sunday mornings for many of those years.
David leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Vivian (Williamson) (94); son, Ross Williamson; daughter, Joyce Nemitz of Fort Worth TX; sister, Michelle Williamson of Rhode Island, CT; 6 grandkids, Paige Goforth, Tulsa OK, Kirk Nemitz Jr. Justin TX, Julia, Chadler, Lauren, & Audrey Williamson of Fort Worth TX; along with, 4 great grandkids, McKinley & Kyler Goforth, Noah & Jonah Nemitz.
