

Dorian was born on January 12, 1972, in San Francisco, CA. Son to Arthur L. Manigo (father) and the late Louise "Weezie" Flournoy-Manigo (mother). Dorian departed this earthly life at the age of 53 on June 21, 2025, in Arlington Texas.
Born and raised in San Francisco ("Frisco") as only he could say. As a child, he was known for his humble spirit, infectious smile, and charismatic personality. Dorian made a positive impact in his family and community, building lifelong friendships along the way. He was an avid sports fan with a special place in his heart for the San Francisco 49ers and the Golden State Warriors. At a very young age, Dorian's basketball prowess, was on full display for those in attendance and became one of the best basketball players in the city. He received several accolades in basketball at Riordan High School. Considered one of the top recruits in the state, he received a basketball scholarship to Santa Monica College and later transferred to Eastern Washington and San Francisco State.
Dorian was formerly married to Kisha Manigo-Powell. Together, they shared the joy of raising three beautiful children who was the light of his life. In pursuit of better opportunities and a brighter future, the family relocated to Texas. As a father he was the calm in the storm - a steady, reassuring presence in times of uncertainty. He was not only a guiding hand but also patient, a great friend and thoughtful listener. His children knew him as a source of unconditional love, wisdom, and quiet strength. His legacy as a devoted parent will live in their hearts.
He was known for his cool demeanor and calm speaking tone. Dorian had a very special gift one that not many people have, he always lead with grace and was a strong believer. Dorian embraced life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed spending time with family especially his children, watching sports, buying the latest sneakers, listening to bay area music, spending time with his "Boyz", traveling, and eating a good salad and he was also an avid Cannasseur. He was a friend and brother to so many and could easily get along with absolutely anyone.
In recent years, Dorian found companionship and love again with his fiancée, Erica Abram, with whom he shared a deep and lasting connection.
