I think of you so very often.   Knowing you are at peace brings comfort to my heart.  I will always hold those memories for a lifetime.  Missing you.

You are missed more than you will ever know.   Continue to fly high with the Angels.

I am never lost for words when it comes to you my friend.  You are missed more than you can imagine.   The memories I have in my heart will always remain.  I am forever grateful that God placed you in my life.  I know you are flying high with the Angels and have peace in your heart. 

Oh Eydie, my dear sweet friend, it's hard to believe you are no longer with us. You were an angel on earth and now you walk with the angels in heaven. I was blessed to grow up with you. What fun we had! Memories flood my mind of our wonderful childhood. I know it's the same for Linda.  Slumber parties, jump rope, throwing the football to each other across the yard between our houses, playing in the park, hop scotch, jumping rope, catching lighting bugs and staying outside til our mamas made us come in, even double dating as teenagers, getting married, having kids, and talking on the phone for hours are just a few of the memories we share. A more loyal friend you could never find. Thank you for being mine. I love you! Now your body is healed and you're with the Lord. And to her family, Lannie, Chuck, Daun, Charles B, and the grandkids, my prayers are with you! Til we meet again Eydie.....

I was fortunate to share many wonderful memories with my sweet friend. Going through junior high and high school together were some of the best times in my life. Skipping the library and cruising around in the infamous white station wagon were times to treasure.  We were always laughing about something. Soon, we were off to marriage, children, careers and eventually grandchildren.  Our careers in nursing became our strongest bond. Her deep commitment, love for her patients and top notch skills made her one of the best.  Eydie loved all people but talked endlessly of the love she had for her children, grandchildren and other family members. I'll miss our laughs, long talks and sharing news about our grandsons. She was a very special lady in my life and I'll always love and miss her dearly. 


So many memories of the sweetest, kindest person I’ve ever known. This beautiful person opened her home and her heart to me  and made sure I always knew I had a home no matter what. I will miss her beautiful smile, that cute accent and her contagious laugh along with all the wisdom she had.  She always had an ear to listen and offer advice. She always made me feel like family. I will miss you my dear friend, more than I can ever say. I love you Miss Eydie, now and forever. 

So many memories of playing in the park, spend the night parties and going to Galveston with your parents.   We were never allowed to be in the same class because we talked to much.  I remember riding around in your parents white station wagon.  You were able to change the odometer so it appeared we did not drive that far.  Just forgot to fill the car with gas.  Always busted by your Dad.  I will miss you dearly my friend.  You took care of me when I had knee surgery and we talked for hours on the phone.   God not only needed another Angel but a Nurse as well.
