Edwin A. Sonnenburg was born in Troy, Texas to Albert and Tena Sonnenburg on March 11, 1936. He went to school at Poly High School. He married Bobbie Lee Brawner on June 12, 1969, in Everman, Texas. Edwin and Bobbie were married for 52 years. He worked as an Inspector for Bell Helicopter for 39 years.
Edwin was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Sonnenburg; son, David Sonnenburg; daughter, Adron Andrews; parents, Albert and Tena Sonnenburg; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.
Edwin is survived by daughter, Vickie Mayfield; granddaughter, Tracy Carson and her husband, Johnny; grandson, Brian Andrews and his wife, Theda; great grandson, Dylan Debevoise; great granddaughter, Shelby Parker and her husband, Zachary; and great, great granddaughter, Oakley Parker.
