

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Eleanor France Lee, who departed this life on October 28, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on November 24, 1935, in Fort Worth, Texas, Eleanor lived a life rich in love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Eleanor dedicated many years of her career to Alcon before transitioning to a part-time role at Walmart, where she later retired.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Thomas Lee Sr., and her daughter, Sherri Grigsby.
Eleanor is survived by her sons, Lewis T. Lee Jr. and his wife, Toni, of Burleson; and Richard Dwayne Lee and his wife, Sherry, of Rio Vista; her daughter, Karan Lee Wethington and her husband, Tommy Simmons, of Burleson; as well as nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of friends who will miss her dearly.
Eleanor was known for her immense love for her dogs, her passion for travel—especially cruises—and her enthusiasm for watching football.
A private graveside service will be held in her honor on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Laurel Land Memorial Park, located at 7100 Crowley Rd., Fort Worth, TX 76134. Remembering a wonderful woman who brought joy to many.
