Elizabeth Ann Norris was born on November 18, 1934 in Breese, Illinois to Daniel and Mildred Norris. She was the older of their two children, having a younger brother, Bill. She graduated from Wells High School in Chicago, Illinois. She met George Beck in Chicago and they were married on February 27, 1954. After studying at the University of Texas at Arlington, she went to school to become a travel agent and then enjoyed a career that she loved with American Airlines.
Elizabeth enjoyed a filling life doing a variety of things that she loved. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family and she tried to involve them in as many things as she could including her love for travel, trips to casinos, eating great food that she cooked (“lasagna and spaghetti like no other”) or at restaurants they loved to visit, SHOPPING, spending time with animals, and having a Breve Misto from Starbucks!
Elizabeth was known by family and friends as a woman who was adventurous, selfless, devoted, joyous, caring, down-to-earth, generous and extremely loving to all who knew her. She will be missed by everyone who ever knew her.
