Emma Jane Patrick, 89, passed away November 8, 2018 at her home in Covington, Tx. Her Visitation will be November 14, 2018 at 10 am followed immediately by her funeral service at 11:00 at First Baptist Church if Covington.
Jane was born on November 8, 1929 in Wellington, Tx to the late Amy Hawkins Culp and Ellis B. Culp. Jane married the late Mike E Patrick Sr. in Wellington, Tx on December 15, 1947. Jane and Mike moved to Dallas and raised 4 children, Mike Jr., Janice Jay, David, and Carrie. Jane worked at various jobs including Sears and as a Principal's Clerk for Dallas ISD. In 1989, Jane and Mike retired to Covington, Tx. Jane spent her retirement years working in her yard, reading, playing card games and participating in activities with her church and with Covington Extension Education Association. After the death of her husband, Jane added traveling the United States with her youngest daughter visiting National Parks.
Jane is survived by 3 children; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
