Service: 11 a.m. Monday at Agnes Baptist Church. Interment: 2 p.m. in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
Erma was born in Eastland, Texas, to Robert and Nancy Murphy in 1924. She was a resident of Agnes for 23 years and was a member of Agnes Baptist Church. She was an animal lover and especially enjoyed bird watching. She was a loving mother, sister and aunt to many.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; two sisters; and husband of 70 years, David Jones.
Survivors: Daughter, Marie Jones and Pat Smith; sister, Verna Jones; niece, Paulette Smith; nephews, Gerald Darr, Royce Darr, Gene Darr, Theron Darr and Jimmy Darr; beloved dog, Rowdy; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
