Freddie Marie Allen Epps was born February 1, 1942 in Marshall, Texas, to Dora McCowan and Norris Allen. She attended Pemberton High School and later moved and resided in Fort Worth, Texas. She worked at Med Star where she retired as a coder. Freddie was baptized at an early age and was a faithful member of the Rising Star Church of God and Christ.
