Service: 10 a.m. Thursday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Fort Worth.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Flowers are welcome.
Hershell was born July 26, 1934, in Era to James and Elizabeth Crawford Hunter. He was the youngest of seven siblings. He enjoyed raising and selling cattle, playing golf, traveling and spending time with his grandson. He spent many years working in the automotive industry. He worked for Ryan Dodge, Mid-City Chrysler and eventually became owner of Meador Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep in Fort Worth.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.
Survivors: His loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Jean; daughter, Laura Hunter and husband, Ted Hill; son, Kyle Hunter and wife, Kelly Hunter; grandchildren, Whitney Hill, Tessa Hill and Isaac Hunter; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
