Hipolito P. Garcia, also known as Big Paul or Polo, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021. Polo was born on September 2, 1947 in Corpus Christi, TX, and was one of 11 children of Hipolito Sr. and Aurora Garcia. Growing up, he was known as a leader and mentor of the family. Polo retired from Bell Helicopter after 33 years of service. He enjoyed his retirement to the fullest by traveling and spending time with his family. Polo is remembered by his family and friends for his love of laughter, his big heart and dedication to his family. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Guadalupe Garcia, and their three children, Rita Estrada, Theresa Rodriguez and Paul Garcia. Polo loved his 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren with all of his heart.
Funeral Mass: 10:30 am on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with the Graveside Service to follow in Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth.
Visitation: 4:30pm - 8pm Thursday, January 7, 2021 with the Rosary to be held at 7 pm Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home, Fort Worth.
