I have many great memories of being with my grandmother.  I remember that my name for her, when I was real little, was "Uh-oh".  My mother believes that this was something I heard my father say in conjunction with with his mother-in-law, but I really believe it is because when I made a mess or a mistake, she would playfully say "uh-oh spaghetti-o's".   I remember watching Carol Burnett Show and Third Rock from the Sun with her when I was in grade school, and then later shows like Everybody Hates Chris, Monk, and Psych when I lived with her after college.  She was always supporting my passions, especially my pursuits in acting, always wanting to come see any show I was performing in.  
She was a wonderful woman who was like a second mother to me.  It's been difficult to see her decline in recent years, starting from right after Granddaddy's death.  I miss her so much, but I know I will see her again.  I love you, Grandmother.

Aunt Jean was a wonderful Aunt, she was very loving, supportive, and incredibly smart.  We always had such fun going to visit her and Uncle Jack in Alexandria and Baton Rouge.  Jean always evoked a quite strength and grace.  Christmas Eve dinners were always filled with great conversation and thinking differently. She challenged us to see things in a border view point.  Aunt Jean and my mom faithfully attending evening church together and I know that was always very special to my mom.  Aunt Jean was truly there for her family and I always had such respect for how she loved and raised Gary. I remember her and Jack coming to see me when Chase was born and the support they gave was such a blessing.  We are assured through God's salvation and Grace we will be reunited in Heaven. Jean You were such a lady. It seemed like everything you touched looked perfect! I visited while you made quilt squares. They were all sewn with perfection. each square was a masterpiece! I always admired the painting you did of Jack and Susan on the beach.  A very tall thin man lovingly holding his little girls hand.  Your painting brought that love to life!  Thank you for trusting me enough to help sell Jack's van and bringing the money to you to take to the bank. After thinking about all our projects, it blew my mind that you trusted me with everything you needed taken care of. You could call me anytime and I would be right down. What a wonderful mother you've always been!  I miss you, but am truly happy you're no longer suffering the horrors of Alzheimer's.  You get to celebrate Christmas with the Birthday Boy Himself!! Give a hug to Granddaddy, Daddy, Susan and Gary for me. I'll be joining y'all as soon as I can.
