Buddy was born on Jan. 13, 1944, in Fort Worth to Dalton and Evelyn Brown. While serving his country proudly for four years in the U.S. Air Force, he married his childhood sweetheart, Vicki Vance. After returning to Fort Worth, Buddy worked for McKesson Drugs where he drove a truck for over 27 years before retiring. He spent much of his time caring for his family, neighbors and friends, and his generosity and kind spirit were insurmountable. Buddy was a huge basketball fan and was ecstatic when his beloved Dallas Mavericks won the NBA Championship in 2011.
He was an outspoken soul who never knew a stranger. Buddy was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and his family, along with his cherished bird, Tweety, will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in passing by his parents and his siblings, Sherry, Betty and Mike.
