James C. Lawrence was born July 21, 1925, in Monette, Ark. He served in the Navy during World War II and later joined the U.S. Army. After 28 years of service he retired.
He was predeceased by his parents, J.H. and Carey Lawrence; brothers, Cletus, Irvin and James Lawrence Jr.; and sister, Opal Fisher.
Survivors: Wife, Maria; daughters, Jeannie I. Ackermann and husband, Harvey, Linda J. Lawrence; grandchildren, Desiree Heshon, Stephanie Quinn and husband, Michael, and Michael Ackermann and wife, Terri; five great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Lawrence; sister, Mary Underwood; many nieces, nephews and friends.
