FT. WORTH -- Mr. James L. Napps, 54, of Ft. Worth, Texas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 16, 2010 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He went peacefully, surrounded by his wife and daughters. Visitation: Family will receive friends Sunday, September 19, 2010, from 5-7 at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Service: Monday September 20, 2010, 2:00pm Richland Hills Church of Christ, North Richland Hills, Texas. He was born in Houston, Texas on August 16, 1956, and moved to Ft. Worth in 1974. He worked for Waste Management for 27 years. The family wishes to thank the nursing and medical staff at Baylor Regional Medical Center of Grapevine for their support. Memorials: In lieu if flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Our Father's Children Inc., 6250 NE Loop 820, North Richland Hills, Tx. 76180. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Alice Napps. Survivors: His wife of 20 years Anne, daughters; Christy Waldie and husband Barry, Dana and Kelley Pitman and grandchildren; Peyton and Hadyn Waldie.
