He was born in New Orleans on October 10th, 1949 to Betty & Harlen Westbrook. James served in the military for 23 years and then after retiring from the Air Force as a Master Sergeant, he worked for the Post Office for another 20 years.
James was married to Patricia Westbrook for 55 years. James is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Westbrook, Betty & Harlen Westbrook. James had two children and a handful of grandchildren.
He is survived by Shawnna & Antoine Sanders, Mark Westbrook, grandsons Gilbert & wife Elizabeth Flores, Joseph & wife Jennifer Flores, Daryl Westbrook and Jim Flores, great grandchildren Brandon Westbrook, Gabriel Flores, James Flores.
He left a legacy behind to carry on. He will be missed dearly.
