Jane was born in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa on July 24, 1944, to Jay & Virginia Moorehead. She graduated from Tarrant County Community College and began her career in telecommunications with AT&T (SW Bell).
She married John Baker on January 22, 1961, they welcome two children, Angie Duke and Lesly Johnson.
Jane loved horses and was a proud member of the Fort Worth Stock Parade Committee.
She is survived by her loving husband, John Baker, children Angie and Lesly, grandchildren; Savannah Segars, Landon Duke, Tanner Johnson and Cameron Duke, siblings Ricky Moorehead and Jerry Moorehead.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Diana West.
