Jayla was born and raised in Fort Worth on August 4, 1951 to Freddie and Edna Rosenau. She attended Poly Tech High School and TCJC. She went on to earn an Associates Degree in Sociology. Jayla had worked for the U.S. Post Office for the past 15 years and just recently retired. She was a devoted and loving mom, grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be remembered for her kind heart and her bigger than life laugh. She will be missed by all her family and friends and thought of often. Our memories of her will remain with us forever.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Janice, Judy, Joni and Jennifer; nephew, Jeff and neice, Joanna.
Jayla is survived by her son, Jay Blandin and wife, Ana; daughter, Jana Blandin; grandchildren, Jayson, Jeffrey, Nathan, Isabella Blandin and Jay Garcia; sister, Jill Pettke; brother, Freddie Rosenau; neices and nephews, Leslie Pettus, Chris Cory, Joy Hancock, Scott Walker, Jonithan Holliman, Jami Holliman, Brandon Pettke, Andrew Pettke, Jennifer Hernandez and Jessica Rosenau and numerous great neices and nephews.
