On the afternoon of September 9, 2021, Jeanne Alpapara Fintzel of Arlington, Texas, passed away at the age of 70 surrounded by her immediate family in her bedroom at her home. Jeanne was born to Orlando and Christina Alpapara on October 18, 1950 in Manila, Philippines where she grew up with her two sisters, Arlene and Rafaela. In December 1982, she married Allen Fintzel in California after having met in the Philippines, and together they raised two children, Robert and Stephanie.
Jeanne was a devoted wife and mother, who always made sure her family came first. She was known as the life of the party and was always the first person to start dancing and made people laugh in the process. As a mother, she could be very serious at times, but would make silly jokes out of the blue and then laugh at her own jokes she made, while you laughed along with her. She was a kind and generous mother, wife, and friend to whom she loved and cared for. She didn’t show much emotion at times but carried the world on her shoulder, and if she liked you or loved you, she showed how much she cared via random acts of service and kindness. Jeanne enjoyed socializing, dancing, singing, shopping, housekeeping, cooking, and caring for her loved ones.
Jeanne is preceded in death by her sister, Rafaela, her mother, Chistina, and her father, Orlando. She is survived by her husband, Allen, her two children, Robert and Stephanie, her sister, Arlene, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews around the world.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on October 18, 2021 at 6:00pm at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Chapel in Fort Worth, Texas.
