He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on January 5, 1938. Jerry graduated from Trimble Tech High School.
Jerry married Jeannie Fincher on May 29, 1959 in Burleson, Texas. Jerry was self employed most of his life but owned and operated Casting Designs Inc. for 45 years. Jerry had a passion for car racing, so much so that he owned two racetracks, Kennedale Speedway Park and Boyd Raceway.
Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Jeannie, his parents Clifford (Silver) and Pearl Bransom.
He is survived by his daughters Jana McRay (Roger) and Joy Bransom, his son Jay Bransom (Kristie), his cherished grandsons Jerrett Bransom and Jack Bransom, his beloved sister Jean Crabb and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral will be held at 2:00 PM, February 2, 2026 at Laurel Land Fort Worth. The visitation will be held on February 1, 2026 beginning at 4:00 PM and concluding at 6:00 PM.
