I've known Jerry for about 4 years. He was very caring very knowledgeable. If he didn't know it he will go look for it I love books I have made some friends in his peer support family. He known almost everybody in the whole system he was a wonderful man.

When I first met Jerry I was very impressed. Although he knew alot of resources and where we could find them in order for me to do my job he didn't boast or brag. He had a natural gift of sharing what he knew and had.  Jerry, I didn't get to know you as much in the two years but I want others to know that your presence is missed and we are forever grateful and blessed to have known you in our time passing through.  Much love and respect.

Jerry was always thinking of others and willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He always knew the best resources to help serve our individuals with MHMR. He had such a sense of humor about things and could be talked to for opinions and advice, he more than most of the time knew an answer and if he didn’t, he knew who to contact. He was usually dressed in style and had some kind of printed socks on. He will forever be remembered from the people he helped serve and his co-workers that worked with him. 

Jerry drove me to the Ft. Worth City sub court house at I-20 and Trail Lake Drive. We went in and stayed awhile and he was in good spirits. We then got ready to go. As he was turning right he spotted the Wendy's next to Starbucks. He turned left and pulled up to the drive thru. He ordered 2 medium chocolate Frosties. He said it was time to celebrate a little and have a great afternoon.


There was another time when I had no car for transportation. Jerry came by the house and got me. Then he asked where I wanted to go to shop. I told him I wanted to go to the Thrift Shop at McCart and I-20. Went and he said he never thought to go there. I bought several pairs of pants, a few shirts, and some shorts. If we had gone to a store cost $150. My cost $35. He said I shopped a bargain. We went back to my place and he let me go. He said have a great day Robert
