God held his hand as he quietly entered eternity on December 19, 2018. His family is assured that he is rejoicing in heaven with his son David Miner, parents Orlo and Norma Miner, and sister Areta Bonner.
Mitchell and his wife Bettie (Robinson) Miner celebrated 62 years of marriage on August 31, 2018. The Miners were married in 1956 in Eastland, Texas. After their marriage, they moved to White Settlement where they continued to live and are members of Bethany Christian Church.
Mitchell is a veteran of the Korean War. He retired in 1999 from Lockheed Martin after 43 years of service. As parents and grandparents their home was always full of love and centered on family.
Mitchell’s favorite passion and biggest joy was being active and involved in his grandchildren’s school and sporting events. His other passion included any outdoor activities, but his favorite was deer hunting and spending the seasons with family and friends.
Blessed with treasured memories of him are: Wife Bettie Miner, daughter Sherrie and husband Randy Armstrong, grandson Derek and wife Claire Armstrong, granddaughter Kylee and husband Ian Velarde and children Baylee, Brinlee, and Blayze, granddaughter Heather and wife Christina Miner and children Kate, Adddison, Kaleb, and, Mckenzie, youngest granddaughter Miranda Miner, daughter in-law, Cara Miner, sister Dana Smith and husband George, and many other loving family members and friends.
