Jimmie served honorably in the United States Air Force and retired as a Technical Sargent after over 20 years of service. Jimmie was an avid member of the New Hope Baptist Church, in Sacramento, California.
He leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish memories his daughter, Cheryl Smith of Fort Worth, Texas; his two sons, Ronald Ashley of San Antonio, Texas; Rodney Ashley of Fort Worth, Texas; and one step-daughter, Sheila Larrymore of Fort Worth, Texas; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
