Jo graduated from the San Antonio Independent School District.
She met the love her life, Johnny Washington, and they united in Holy Matrimony July 1989.
She rededicated her life to Christ in 2023 and joined Mount Hermon Missionary Baptist Church. She was a faithful member until her health declined.
Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Washington; one son, Darcell Jones; parents, Ernest Jones, Sr. and Frankie King; sisters, Glenda Jones, Rosalee Childress, and Jeraldine Randolph
She leaves to cherish her memories children, Jewel Jones (Mary), LaShasta L. Jones, Samuel E. Jones (Ashley), Atoya L. Smith, and Ashley F. Jones; step-daughter, Diana W. Curry (Angelo); 23 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce King; brother, Ernest Jones, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
