

Karen Elizabeth LeBlanc, 66, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025. Born on September 25, 1959, in Lubbock, Texas, Karen graduated from Southwest High School in Fort Worth in 1977. After graduating from high school, she attended Bauder Fashion Beauty College. Karen spent her life surrounded by the love of her family, her faith, and her passion for music.
Karen was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. She shared her life with her beloved husband, Greg LeBlanc, whom she married on Halloween in 1992. Together, they created a life filled with love, laughter, and memories. They were married for almost 33 years and shared an unbreakable bond. She was also the proud mother of Audra LeBlanc and the joyful grandmother of Genevieve LeBlanc, who were her greatest treasures.
Karen’s love for music began at a young age. She took piano lessons as a child and continued her musical journey throughout her life, continuing weekly lessons as an adult. The piano was her solace. She also had a strong, unwavering opinion on what she believed, always willing to share her thoughts with those around her. Even though life was not always easy for Karen, dealing with daily pain that she kept mostly to herself, she faced every challenge with grace and strength. She never wanted to be a burden to anyone but, simply sought peace in her life.
Karen’s heart was full of love, not just for her family, but for every creature she encountered. She cared deeply for animals, often welcoming strays into her home and providing them with food, love, and a place in her heart. Her compassion extended to everyone she met, and she was known for her gentle spirit and steadfast kindness. Throughout her life, Karen showed no cruelty toward any person or animal, always choosing compassion and understanding.
Though Karen experienced pain, she never allowed it to overshadow joy. Her smile could light up a room, and her laughter was infectious, especially when something truly made her happy. Her impact on those around her was undeniable. she made people feel seen, cared for, and valued.
Karen’s faith was a guiding light. She enjoyed reading her Bible and studying with others. Karen was an avid reader. Her love for literature allowed her to escape into different worlds and discover new perspective, enriching her life in countless ways.
Karen is survived by her loving husband, Greg LeBlanc; her daughter, Audra LeBlanc; her granddaughter, Genevieve LeBlanc; and her brothers, Charles Wooley (Cathy) and Adrian “Butch” Wooley. She is also remembered with love by her nieces, nephew, and many dear friends.
Though she will be deeply missed, Karen’s legacy of love, compassion, and faith will live on in all who knew her.
