As a little girl I can remember when the Creators were scheduled to play in "The Flat" , the young women would congregate at Ruth Durham's house. My little brother loved him some Laura Pearl.

RIP Sis as you've received your wings. I will always remember your melodious voice.

You will be missed by so many who were so close to you.  I am grateful for the short time we did have together. I wish so badly that we could have made more memories as a family. When my dad passed, you were the first one to call. You even came to meet me and Camille that special Christmas after we all reunited bearing gifts and that made us feel so special and loved;  even after 20 years, your heart was still so big for us. I will never forget that weekend. Thanks for always checking up on me and making me feel a part of the Crowder family.  You texted me just this father's day with a sweet post from Dad's graveside and I thank you for that. You always kept us in your heart. You are a gem and will shine forever. It's so hard to lose someone you love especially when it happens so unexpectedly. Ms. Laura was a special person.  I think the song Sophisticated Lady fits her personality. she's a different lady with a different style she talks quiet and gentle, she acts very cool cause she's always smiling and she's always neat, She's a hip slick sister known throughout the land. Yes, I will truly miss her and I loved her. Always remember that you have the love and concern of family and friends, So many people care about you guys and keeping you in their thoughts and prayers.
