Lela Faye Ballinger

"It is with profound love and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Lela Faye Ballinger, age 66, of Burleson, TX, on December 6th, 2025. She was born on April 28th, 1959, in Mt. Vernon, IL, to her parents, Bennie Brenson, and Lucille Almetia Satterwhite.

Lela lived a beautiful life filled with the love and laughter of family and friends. Her comforting voice, kind eyes, soft smile, and heartwarming laugh were a beacon of light and love to all who loved and cherished her. Lela's true calling on this earth was to nurture and care for others, through not only her selfless career as a home health aide, but by being the anchor of the family. She was an amazing wife, grandmother, mother, sister, and friend.

Lela is survived by her husband, Russell Dean Ballinger, her siblings Marilyn Breeze, and husband Bill Breeze, Sharon Evans and husband Don Evans, and Sue Warren, her children, Brenson Keith Henn, and wife Sabrina Angelica Henn, Crystal Lynette Olsen and husband Doug Olsen, Jaime Hunt, Benjamin Drabing, Jeremy Dean Ballinger, and wife Miranda Ballinger, Justin Shane Ballinger, and wife Samantha Hipps, Joshua Russell Ballinger, and wife Pamala Sue Leindecker, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Lela was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie Brenson Satterwhite and Lucille Almetia Satterwhite, brother Bennie Duane Satterwhite, and son Travis Ray Hunt.

Lela was a beautiful soul and blessing to all who knew her, full of life, warmth, and wisdom. She was loved by all. Her legacy will live on through her powerful love in the hearts of everyone that knew her."
