Lila was born Nov. 15, 1930, in McLennan County to William and Mary Chandler. Lila was a member of Green Oaks Church of Christ in Arlington.
She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Hayes.
Survivors: Husband of 65 years, Billy Joe Hayes; son, Mark Hayes and wife, Retta Hayes; daughter, Laurie Albritton and husband, Joel Albritton; grandchildren, Steve Hayes, Staci Johnson, Kent Albritton, Krystal Albritton and Katie Albritton; four great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Chandler; sister, Geneva Cartwright; and numerous nieces and nephews.
