

Margie was born Sept. 18, 1927, to Royce and Ollie Wells in Grand Saline. She married Travis Walters on Sept. 3, 1948. They raised three daughters, Patty, Debby and Cindy. They lived in Everman and attended Everman First Baptist Church for more than 33 years. After raising her children, she worked for and retired from Everman ISD. Travis preceded her in death after 43 wonderful years of marriage.
She loved to sew, cook, fish, camp, play cards and spend time with her family. She cherished each and every member of her family and was always available to each one and was dearly loved by all.
She married Nelo Hall in 1994 who was a devoted husband and companion for 21 years. They were members of the First Baptist Church of Thorp Springs where they enjoyed activities that included chili cook-offs.
She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Mildred Wells and Ona Mae "Pete" Stephens; and son-in-law, Robert Owens.
Survivors: Husband, Nelo Hall of Granbury; sister, Mary Wood of Ocean Springs, Miss.; daughters, Patty McKnight of Granbury, Debby Owens of Granbury and Cindy Day and husband, Wade, of Burleson, Barbara Watkins and husband, Michael, of Granbury; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two stepsons and their children; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
