Martha Nell Johnson was born on July 16, 1936 in Whitehouse, Texas to Reverend Med Dews, Sr. and Lera B. Dews. She attended school in Tyler, Texas and was raised in a beautiful family with eight brothers and six sisters.
Martha worked for 35 years for R-Tec as an Assembler in Bedford, Texas. She was a loyal and loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend to us all and brought so much joy to our lives. No matter happy or sad, she was always there.
Martha was proceeded in death by her loved ones: her husband, Brenard Johnson and her son, Brenard Johnson, Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas, her parents, Reverend Med and Lera B. Dews, 6 brothers, Mr. Calvin Dews, Mr. Med Dews, Jr., Mr. Alvin Dews, Mr. Elbert Dews, Mr. John Dews and Mr. Charles Dews; sisters, Barbara Jean Donaldson and Lera Mitchell; and grandsons; Henry Brenard Johnson, Jr., Da’Ron Miller and Derrick Johnson, Jr.
Martha leaves to cherish her beautiful memories 3 sons; Henry Johnson, Ronnie D. Johnson and Anthony Johnson of Fort Worth, Texas; daughters; Brenda Wilson, Gloria Johnson and Martha Jean Johnson of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, Linda Mitchell and Delores Dews of Tyler, Texas, Betty Young and Winnie Dews of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Bonny Dews and Elder Dews of Tyler, Texas; grandchildren 22, great grandchildren 39, great-great grandchildren 9 and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
