Mary was born in Fort Worth Texas to her parents Doyle and Inez Guthrie.
Mary graduated from North Side High School. After graduation she worked with her Mother in the insurance and real estate business. Mary then married Guy R Anderson in December of 1942 and they were married until his death in 2004. Mary was always associated with the real estate industry as a branch manager for Rattikin Title Company and Southwest Land Title until her retirement in 1989. Mary enjoyed life and people and being around her son Gary, daughter-in-law Barbara along with her grandson Bobby and wife Melanie, great granddaughter Kylie and great grandson Tyler. She also enjoyed crocheting and quilting and sold many items at the senior citizens fair.
Mary is survived by her son Gary, daughter-in-law Barbara, grandson Bobby and his wife Melanie, two great grandchildren Kylie and Tyler and many cousins.
Mary will be buried alongside her husband Guy at the DFW National Cemetery on March 29th.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that a donation is made to the Heart Association.
