It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Josephine Moore Wilson, our loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She left us while sleeping peacefully on the morning of April 24, 2019 at her home in White Settlement Texas. She was 84 years old.
Mary Jo was born in Woodworth, Louisiana a small town outside of Natchitoches, LA. She met her late loving husband Harold Fredrick Wilson Jr. when she was a young woman of 17, working at a drug store in Shreveport, LA. Together they traveled the world while he served our country in the Air-force for 22 years.
She is survived by her brother, Lonnie Jean. She was the beloved mother of Veronica, Harold and Linda.
She was Mema or Granny to 8 grandchildren, Chanee, Trey, Wes, Sasha, Bo, Ronald, Greg and Joe. She also was the great grandmother of 14, Oliver, Owen, Ellery, Matthew, Bobbie, William, Haley Victoria, Emily, Mason, Brayden, Maddox, Avery and Bella.
There was always room at her kitchen table and in her heart for many boys of White Settlement. Most of all she loved her family and instilled in them strong values that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and she will be forever in our hearts.
