Mason graduated from Barber School the summer of 2019 and quickly found a following.
He was preceded in death by his little brother, Christler Elliott Crews.
He is survived by his mother Deni Hoyler Berry, stepfather Walter Berry, father Dennis Luellen, step mother Rhonda Luellen, step father Branch Reid. His brothers and sisters are Catron Luellen, Ian Luellen, Bowen Smith-Luellen, Madison Berry, Mason Berry, BJ Reid, Roseanne Roye, Chase Reid. Mason was engaged to be married to Taylor Mohler of Arlington, TX. Aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews alike will miss him dearly.
Mason was a young man with multiple talents. He worked as a Barber, was a Gunsmith at Triarc Systems and Doorman at Deep Ellum Art Company. He was a member of The Proud Boys with a great passion for our country. He was a true patriot. He asked Taylor on their first date how she felt about the Constitution!
Mason also had a great passion for food, art, music and intelligent conversations with people of all walks. He was loving and generous to all, he championed the underdog and was ready to protect us all. He loved doing volunteer work with a few non-profits helping seniors and veterans with home repairs. Children were drawn to him and he loved their purity. Mason was also greatly blessed by having a lot of friends who were as quick to help him as he was them. His friends were family.
He was a big guy - but aside from height and breadth, he was bigger than life in the way he loved, in the way he shared his passions. He looked fierce, and certainly could be, however he had a tender heart of gold and was a gentle giant.
Mason and Taylor had what they called “movie love”. They were at each other’s side from first date forward. They planned on having a family and wanted a small town life with gardens and animals around.
