

Mayme Louise Melton was born in Wortham, Texas on October 22, 1932, to the parentage of Alfred Ware and Eddie Mae Harper Ware. She attended Elementary School there. She Then moved to Mexia, Texas where she finished her Education at Dunbar High School. She then met and married her husband L.C. Melton.
They later moved to Fort Worth, Texas where she United with Providence Baptist Church and was a member of the Senior Choir. She remained a faithful member until she was unable to do so. She was also a Loved Member of her Senior Group The Golden Angels.
Mayme was affectionately known by different nick names; by each generation she was called; Aunt Ran, Maw Maw, Lee-Lee and Aunt Louis. Mayme was a Kind and gentle nature loved by all who encountered her.
She was proceeded in death, by her Parents; Alfred Ware and Eddie Mae Harper Ware; Husband, LC Melton; two Sons, Theodre Melton and Douglas Ware; Granddaughter, Sheen Jack and Daughter, Anita Jack; Brother, Robert Smith and Sister, Parthenia Keaton.
Those left to cherish her precious memories; her grandsons, Brodrick Ware (La Kesha), Alfred Sims; her granddaughters, Cynthia Brewer (Michael) and Evelyn Taylor; her great granddaughter, Chloe Ware; her brother, Joe Ware of Austin, Texas and her sister, Wanda Smith of Fort Worth, Texas; her nephews and nieces, Alfredrick and Reginald Smith, Michael Ware (Carol), Kenneth and Tammy Keaton (Vanessa), Shirley Warren (Kerry), Alean Green, Beverly Ennis (Jonathan), Paula Harlin-Smith, Belinda, Renee, Ingrid and a host of great nephews, nieces, cousins family and friends.
