Affectionately named “Billie", “Lil’ Bit", and “Granny" by her family and closest friends, Mildred Hadley, was born in Clayton, Texas, and later, moved to Marshall, before finally settling in Fort Worth, raising 6 children and dedicating 25 years of service to Harris Methodist Hospital. She most enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her loved ones. Mildred was a faithful and favored member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church for almost 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Curtis Hadley, her youngest son, Eric Hadley, and 4 siblings.
She is survived by her sisters Merridine, Earnestine, Doris and Barbara, her eldest son, Tommy, Jr., and daughters, Gwendolyn, Rosemary, Patsy, and Katherine, as well as 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
