Neil Davis

Jonathan Neil Davis was born January 24, 1978 in Bedford, TX. He spent his early years in the HEB area. His family moved to the Phoenix, AZ area when he was 11 years old. He graduated from Mountain Pointe High School in 1996.

He had a passion for golf and spent 6 years dedicated to going pro. He worked side by side with his dad at Mountain Brook and White Bluff golf courses for many years.

Neil moved back to Texas in 2008 to work at Tennyson Park golf course but was invited back to Mountain Brook golf course so he headed back to Arizona.

After his family relocated back to Texas, Neil decided to make the move permanent in 2012 and came home to Texas.

He met his wife, Joy, in August 2014 and they were married November 2015. They welcomed a son, Daniel, in December 2017.

Neil was an avid sports fan. He rooted for his home teams, the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. He could be seen sporting his jersey or lucky socks on game days. He loved the movies and had an uncanny ability to recall obscure lines and actors. He loved cars, especially the classics. He could often guess the car just by the sound of the engine. He was best known for his witty sense of humor, humbleness and love of family. He was a member of North Richland Hills Baptist Church and loved his church family.

He passed away May 24, 2022 after a very short battle with brain cancer and he gave the gift of life to others through organ donation. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Joy, his son, Daniel, his parents Glenn and Dianna Davis, sister Audrey Davis and nephew Champion, niece Kassja, and nephew Zane, sister Emily Radcliff and husband Les, nephew William, niece Zoe, nephew Davis, nephew Nathaniel and niece Magnolia Joy, grandmother Joyce Davis as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
