Graveside service: 3 pm Thursday at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.
Joyce was born in Venus, Texas on October 25, 1931 to Oscar Caldwell and his wife Eva Lisman Caldwell. She was the eighth child of nine daughters.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Calvin "Steve" Stephens and grandson, Brandon "BK" Sanders.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Sanders of Haltom City, Deborah Pence of Weatherford; son, Mark Stephens and his wife Darlene of Burleson; grandchildren, Stephen Pence, Stephanie Robertson and husband Kelvin, Denise Stephens, and Cavin Stephens; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; along with many nieces and nephews.
