Norma Jean Cooper

Norma Jean Cooper, age 84, passed away on September 30, 2018. Norma was born in Fort Worth on September 26, 1934 to Chester and Estell Samples. She was a graduate of Lake Worth High School where she was a majorette. Norma was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. One of Norma's greatest qualities was her entrepreneurial spirit. She founded Lighting Etc. in the early eighties and spent the following decades growing her business. Norma never stopped working hard and she was always bringing light into the lives of everyone she met. In addition to helping her customers, Norma continuously extended a helping hand to anyone in need. She believed in people when others didn't and was the first to help you up when you were down. She leaves behind a thriving business and family and friends that love her and will continue to honor her legacy. The family invites friends to a Memorial Gathering on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 5pm to 8pm at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Dr., Fort Worth, Texas 76148.
